Snapper Delivers, GoodLuck Goes Nuclear

Bonsoy Gold Coast Pro Recap | GLOT Fantasy League | Stop 3 of 12

Ethan Ewing won it for Queensland. Stephanie Gilmore won it for the ages. GoodLuck won it to keep you blokes on your toes.

GLOT taking number one for the Gold Coast event on the good fortune of having EE, Connor, Steph and Lulu all in the lineup. We’re not going to pretend to be modest about this. You all need to do better. Event prize money stays in the cash pool.

The Season Standings: A Complete Reshuffling

Three events in and the leaderboard looks nothing like it did after Bells. GLOT leads the season on 1,729.02 points — StokeLord805 is right behind on 1,678.46, beacon barney and thetrain are trending in the right direction.

The most dramatic story of the event belongs to Sticks — up a staggering 34 spots from #42 to #8 overall after the Gold Coast.

LezsMangoes and thetrain both jumped 12 and 8 spots respectively, riding strong Gold Coast selections into the top 5. These are the sneakys threats to watch heading into Raglan.

The Fallen

STELLATO — who was on top of the world after Bells — has now crashed from #2 all the way to #23. Zeeback, last event’s overall leader, has tumbled from #1 to #22. Two stops without a strong event and the damage is brutal. This is a 12-stop season but the hole is getting deep.

HFTHoneyz, Squiggly Shark and Tbekr either didn’t score or barely registered at the Gold Coast. At some point you have to ask some hard questions about what you’re doing with your life.

GLOT League Context

Three events down, nine to go. The GWM Aussie Treble is wrapped — now the tour heads to Raglan, New Zealand. A brand new venue, a left-hand point break, and a completely zero data. The current top 5 will not all still be in the top 5 after New Zealand. Count on it. Good luck out there.

Next stop: Corona Cero New Zealand Pro at Raglan, May 15–25. Fantasy preview dropping this week. 🤙
