WA Reshuffles the GLOT Deck — Margaret River Mush Recap

George Pittar just ate three Brazilian world champions for breakfast and Lakey Peterson reminded everyone she’s still got it — and most importantly Tbekr went absolutely nuclear.

The Event Winner: Tbekr

Dead last after Bells to the top of the leaderboard for this event with a strongn 576.72 points. Tbekr’s smart power surfers were the difference maker as Gabe and Caity led all the other popular picks.

New World Number One: Zeeback

Zeeback not so quietly took the overall lead amassing 1,112.94 season points and looking good to take the Aussie Treble. STELLATO dropped to second after a quieter Margaret River. The yellow jersey has changed hands. Zeeback, enjoy it while it lasts.

Biggest Movers

King of Kookdom had the move of the event, climbing from #36 to #14 overall — a 22-spot swing. Ol Shreddy wasn’t far behind, jumping 20 spots from #40 to #20. CaptainBanks came in swinging too, up 13 spots to #25. These three were clearly loading heavy hitters for West Oz and it paid off.

GoodLuck Update

The show ranked #13 for the event and climbed from #25 to #13 overall with help from a 2x Carissa Moore.

The Bottom

Sticks, FloriDuhMan, thecaboose — y’all need to do some serious reflection before the Gold Coast. Snapper Rocks rewards very different surfers from the Margaret River mush so an opportunity for us all to reshuffle.
